• What is flower preservation?
Flower Preservation is where art meets science! Deb's Keepsake Flowers has time tested preservation techniques to ensure the best results. Once we receive your flowers the pampering process begins and each flower is specially preserved according to best scientific technique for that particular flower. Flowers will be re-hydrated; damaged petals will be trimmed and reinforced. Once your flowers are designed in a beautiful keepsake encasement it will be a lifetime treasure while maintained in normal household conditions
• Why should I preserve my wedding memorabilia?
This is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to save your Wedding Memories in a presentation to be displayed in your home for many years to come. Your role in determining all aspects of design, further personalizes the preservation of your most intimate artifacts. Items to consider including in the design with your flowers, could be invitations and other wedding mementos.
• What is the first step to preserve my wedding bouquet?
Make preserving your flowers part of your wedding plans. Call prior to your wedding to select your frame and to make arrangements for us to receive the flowers as fresh as possible.
•How soon should I deliver my flower for preservation?
You should make arrangements prior to the wedding for someone to deliver the flowers. If there is a short delay (1 to 4 days) you may place them in the refrigerator. (NOT THE FREEZER)
• May I ship my flowers to "Keepsake Flowers"?

• How long will my preserved flowers last?
Under normal living conditions (air conditioning in the summer, heat in the winter), your flowers will last for many years when displayed in our sealed picture frames, shadow boxes or glass encasements. This protects the bouquet from environmental conditions that would accelerate the deterioration of the flowers.
• Which flower preserve best?
We have developed techniques to preserve successfully all of the traditional Wedding Flowers, greenery and many others.
• Will my flowers change color?
Keepsake Flowers wants to retain your bouquets natural beauty to the fullest extent. During the preservation process most vivid colors should remain close to the same or possibly deepen somewhat. Whites and ivories may become creamier and reds darken. If there are slight changes it is always with pleasing results. As always, the fresher and better quality flowers will produce best results.
• Do you have gift certificates?
Yes. Add the Keep Sake request to your bridal registry and have friends and family contribute. The addition of a Keep Sake will be enjoyed for years to come.
• What to do if my wedding has already happened?
Most importantly, we must receive the flowers as quick as possible to better preserve the bouquets' original beauty. Frame selection may be made later. Please contact us know that we will be receiving the flowers and refer to the shipping section for instructions. We require a $100.00 preserving deposit that will apply towards the total order cost. The deposit is non-refundable. In rare instances, the flowers may not survive the shipping process, due to in-transit damage or condition of the bouquet prior to shipping. The flowers can be replaced or some flowers salvaged for a smaller Keep Sake memento.
• Can my bouquet be kept in the same shape?
Yes, the design may be kept in the same shape or redesigned. Please check your preference on the Customer Check List. The size of your Keep Sake selection should be a size that will accommodate your bouquet and other wedding mementos that you want to include. Please contact us to discuss your preferences with a professional designer as an assurance that your Keep Sake will meet all of your expectations.
• Do you press flowers?
We can press your flowers or keep them three-dimensional. If you prefer pressed flowers, this must be decided prior to shipping the flowers. Once the flowers have been preserved in the three-dimensional state they cannot be pressed.
• What other mementos may be preserved?
Most all wedding mementos may be preserved for display or included in your floral Keep Sake presentation. These include items such as invitations, photos, garters, tiaras, champagne glasses or any other memorable item that can be accommodated in your encasement selection. We also encase cake flowers and decorations. Any special occasion is an opportunity to preserve an item that reflects your personal memories. We specialize in creating family heirlooms. See the Memento Idea Section for suggestions.
